Upcoming Event:

Zeal Electronics are participating in the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition 2012. Held at FIVE, Farnborough 15-16 February 9-15am to 4.30pm. Please click on the link further information. We would warmly welcome any visitors.

New Investment:

Zeal has recently invested in two new pick and place surface mount machines with a goal of increasing throughput to meet customer demands. The new MYDATA MY19 and TP11 Machines have been recently commissioned into the surface mount area and can place up to 21,000 components per hour.

We have also procured an Automated Optical Inspection Machine this will further guarantee the quality of the product, reinforce our commitment to remaining technologically current and provide our staff with the best equipment available.

30th Anniversary Celebration:

Zeal are preparing to celebrate a successful Anniversary, as an established company with expected growth within the Electronic Manufacturing Sector.

New employees:

Zeal would like to welcome their new Production Manager Grant Teagle with extensive experience of Lean Awareness and various Manufacturing Techniques and is already proving to be a value adding team player.

Training:

All permanent employees have completed their IPC-610 qualification and are currently working towards completing their NVQ. We are currently rolling out the training program out to new starters so all Zeal employees will be accredited and an ethos of continuous development is maintained across the company.

MAS SEMTA PERA training:

Training has not been limited to technical matters but management have also been involved and the integration of processes has been encouraged through attending various workshops;

These have been so successful that the company is looking to actively encourage all staff to attend. A 5 S programme was successfully conducted over a 3 day schedule delivered onsite by a dedicated PERA consultant.
