We operate three fully automatic Siemens pick and place machines two with vision systems capable of placing over 4000 components an hour. All placing information is computer controlled, which ensures full repeatability. Precision, reliability and consistent high quality of all batches is delivered by this facility.
The facility has a high feeder capacity for different types of components and includes for automatic testing options to check all passive components and diodes prior to placement. This ensures a high pass rate and reliability of assemblies in later testing operations. Integrated adhesive application is carried out simultaneously with placement, under a single program sequence, resulting in greater reliability during high-speed assembly. The facility has a placement accuracy of +/- 0.08mm, meeting the requirements of all components including 0603 for passives and 0.025 I/C leaded packages. The facility is supported by a 4 zone reflow oven to achieve a fully controllable temperature profile for lead free and leaded assemblies, a high performance screen printer and a rework station of up to X30 magnification.
